NEW DIRECTOR TAKES OFFICE AT THE NATIONAL LAND SERVICE.
The National Land Service has a new Director Daiva Gineikaite, former head of its Kaunas Division, a lawyer with an extensive experience in government institutions.
While introducing the new Director, Virginija Baltraitiene, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, expressed her satisfaction over the fact that after a long time the Service has a new leader.
“I am sincerely hopeful that upon Daiva’s taking the lead of the institution, all the processes of the land reform will become more transparent, faster and clearer, and customer service will be significantly improved”.
“I am pleased to have become the leader of such an important institution. I have worked in government institutions for a long time, and have gained good expertise of all the processes going on. I would appreciate all of us joining our efforts to achieve the best possible results when serving every single person who contacts our institution”, said Daiva Gineikaite, the new Director.
15 applicants had expressed their wish to become Director of the National Land Service, 7 of them stayed for the last selection stage. Daiva Gineikaite won highest scores. At the request of the Ministry of Agriculture, the competition was observed by representatives of the Civil Service Department.
