The National Land Service (NLS) now invites the reporting of observed land-use violations on a special website, which is also adapted for mobile devices. It will be easy and convenient for residents to use the created Land Use State Control website.

During the second quarter of this year, the territorial divisions of the National Land Service (NNT) carried out more than 3,000 land use inspections, of which 1,943 were planned inspections and 1,140 were unscheduled inspections carried out according to the received reports.

According to the latest sociological survey “Corruption Map of Lithuania 2021”, neither the country's residents nor the heads of business enterprises classify the National Land Service (NLS) as one of the most corrupt institutions. Comparing the results of this study with 2020, the results of a similar survey show that all target groups of respondents were significantly more positive about the activities of NLS.

The National Land Service submitted its 2021 activity report to the Ministry of Agriculture.

The efficiency of our operations is also reflected in the ever-increasing financial return. Last year, the state and municipal budgets were supplemented by as many as 58.1 million EUR, i.e., 44 percent more than 2020. I am glad that the quality of our activities is also positively assessed by international experts,” says Saulius Mocevičius, who is currently the director of the NLS.

This reaffirms that the quality management system of NLS helps to consistently achieve the strategic goals of the organization, more effectively control the ongoing business processes, and quality management contributes to improving the quality of services, operational methods, operational efficiency, and efficiency of NLS administration.
